Moving from Uncertainty to Assurance

Privacy, Control, Security, Simplicity.

You and your loved ones deserve no compromise.

Pearl Long Term Care Solutions brings families, providers and payers together to focus on effortless access to outstanding and affordable care.

Over the next decade, the largest generation in American history, the Baby Boomers, turn 75.

As they do, our nation’s elderly population will skyrocket by 68%.

At the same time, nearly 70% of all people over 65 will need some form of long term care during their lifetime.

By 2034, this older generation will outnumber children under 18 for the first time in American history -- more elders and fewer children mean less families to care for loved ones as they age.

Our Origin Story

Pearl Long Term Care Solutions is the brainchild of a passionate granddaughter.  Both her grandmothers were named Pearl and both needed care in the sunset of their lives.  Myisha’s paternal Pearl received loving care from a family member who stayed with her and helped meet all her needs, she passed with dignity.  Myisha’s maternal Pearl, however, didn’t get the care she needed.  Myisha had to directly intervene--dealing with the bureaucracy and administrative hurdles of Medicaid, Medicare and the VA.  In the end, maternal Pearl had to sell off her most prized possessions to pay for nursing home care.

That contrast, between maternal and paternal, motivated Myisha to solve the bigger problem:  how do families get their loved one the care they need quickly, affordably and without all the red tape she faced for her grandmother?  Tapping over 15 years in health policy, including helping to implement Medicare Part D and the Affordable Care Act, Myisha created a model that solves one of the biggest problems in the senior housing industry:  affordable access.  By shaping a mutually beneficial relationship between providers and those seeking care, she fills the gap between them by maximizing occupancy through care-driven, economical choices.  Her company is named for both grandmothers, to whom she dedicates her effort daily.
